Start Using Norton™ Internet Security

To start Norton Internet Security Online, follow the procedure mentioned in any of the following steps:

1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Programs> Norton Internet Security > Norton Internet Security.
2. On the Windows XP taskbar, click Start > All Programs > Norton Internet Security > Norton Internet Security.
3. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Internet Security icon.
4. In the Windows system tray, double-click the Norton Internet Security icon. In Windows XP, the system tray is called the notification area.

Windows 8 users please follow these steps:
(Note: Norton 2012 doesn’t support Windows 8)

Through Search Charm
1. Press the Winkey and C simultaneously to go to Charms bar.
2. Click on the Search charm, select Apps, and type Norton Internet Security.
3. Click on Norton Internet Security.

From the Desktop
On the Windows Desktop, double-click the Norton Internet Security icon.

• Double-click on the Norton 360™ Online icon on your desktop.
• Click on the Norton 360™ Online icon in your systray
• Click on the Windows Start button, point to Programs or All Programs, click on the Norton folder, and double-click on the Norton 360™ Online icon.

From here you can scan for viruses, backup your files, or optimize your computer’s performance.
