Norton™ Internet Security System Requirements

In order to run Norton™ Internet Security software your computer must meet the following system requirements:

Windows XP:
• 300 MHz or faster processor.
• 256 MB RAM.
• 300 MB available hard disk space.
• Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, Firefox 3.0 or later

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
• 1 GHz for Microsoft Windows Vista/Microsoft Windows 7
• 512 MB of RAM.
• 300 MB of available hard disk space.
• Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, Firefox 3.0 or later

Windows 8:
• 1 GHz for Microsoft.
• 512 MB of RAM.
• 300 MB of available hard disk space.
• CD-ROM or DVD drive(if not installing via electronic download.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher (32-bit only) and Mozilla Firefox (32-bit only)

Windows 10:
• 1 GHz for Microsoft.
• 512 MB of RAM.
• 300 MB of available hard disk space.
• CD-ROM or DVD drive(if not installing via electronic download.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher (32-bit only) and Mozilla Firefox (32-bit only)

Norton Internet Security supports the following Messaging programs:
• Microsoft Outlook 2002 or later
• Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 or later
• Windows Mail (spam filtering only)

Other requirements:
• Google Chrome (Browser Support for Phishing Protection, Safe Search, and Password Management)
• Mozilla® Firefox (32-bit only)(Browser Support for Vulnerability Protection)
• Norton Internet Security 2013 supports all POP3 and SMTP compatible email clients.
