How does NetZero determine if an account has been accessed without authorization and what actions are taken?
Our automated spam-detection setup regularly identifies and reports any accounts that send spam or perform other activities in violation of our Terms of Service. As a safety precaution to help avoid the account from being further accessed in any way, we place restrictions on the email service of the compromised account.
Unless the account password is changed and appropriate steps are taken to secure the account, the email restrictions placed on the account will not be removed.
