How am I billed for Toll-Free service?

The NetZero Toll-Free service is billed at a flat rate of $19.95 per month*, which is charged on the first day of your billing cycle. NetZero Toll-Free is limited to 30 hours of Internet access per month, and your usage is rounded up to the next whole minute. So, if you are connected to the Internet for 5½ minutes, your usage will reflect 6 minutes.

You can exceed 30 hours of Internet access per monthly billing cycle by turning on metered billing in your Toll-Free Billing Preferences. You will then be billed for extra access time at a rate of 2½ ¢ per minute (if you exceed your 30 hours of access time). We will round your total monthly fee to nearest whole cent. So, if you connect for 3 minutes beyond your 30-hour limit during a billing cycle, the metered charges will be 7½ cents (3 minutes at 2½ cents per minute), but will be rounded up to 8 cents.
