Firewall Information and Troubleshooting (Juno 5.0) The most common way of protecting your computer system from unauthorized access through your Internet connection is by installing a Firewall program. A Firewall program gives you the ability to block or allow certain Internet transactions. Unfortunately, a misconfigured Firewall program can prevent you from properly connecting to or accessing the Internet. For Juno, the most common symptoms of this problem would be: Unable to connect to the Internet Page Cannot Be Displayed NetZero HiSpeed Unavailable To resolve this issue, please go through the following steps: A. Adjust your firewall settings B. Change your firewall settings to allow x1exec.exe, jsps.exe and juno to access the Internet Note: If you are not sure if you are using a Firewall program or what type of Firewall program you have installed in your system, then you can use our Connection Wizard to identify any potential conflicts. A. Adjust your firewall settings In order to successfully connect to Juno, you will need to change the Internet security setting of your firewall program to a setting that is compatible with any dial-up ISP such as Juno, usually Medium. Occasionally, after the initial installation of the Juno software, you may receive a notice that x1exec, jsps or juno is trying to logon to the Internet. If you see this message, please ensure that you click Yes to allow the Juno software access to the Internet. If you don't allow access, our software will be unable to function properly.
