System Requirements
NetZero Stick™ - In order to use the NetZero Stick, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:
- Microsoft Windows XP®, Vista®,7® or 8®, Apple OS-X 10.5® or higher
- 1GB RAM
- At least 50MB free hard disk space
- USB port
NetZero HotSpot™, MiFi® 5580 or 500 LTE - You can use your NetZero HotSpot, MiFi® 5580 or 500 LTE with any Wi-Fi enabled device. If you're connecting a computer to either device, you'll need to be sure it has a wireless card. To check if your computer is Wi-Fi enabled:
Windows®: - Open the Control Panel and select System.
- Click on the Hardware tab and choose Device Manager.
- Find Network Adapters in the list and click the plus sign next to it to expand it.
- If you see a device with the word “Wireless” next to it, your computer is Wi-Fi enabled.
Mac®: - Open Finder and navigate to Applications.
- Open the Utilities folder and double-click System Profiler.
- Click on Network. If you see a device under the Airport category your computer is Wi-Fi enabled.
- To find out if a different device is Wi-Fi enabled (such as game console, smartphone, etc), check with the manufacturer's user manual or spec sheet.
NetZero 4G Home Modem - You can use your NetZero 4G Home Modem with any Wi-Fi enabled device. It also supports network cable connections. - Power outlet - this device requires continuous power and does not have a battery.
- Devices capable of connecting via Wi-Fi or Ethernet network cable.
