Pair with Bluetooth To pair with Bluetooth, complete the following steps: - Verify Bluetooth is active.
- From the Bluetooth settings page, select the Visibility field (shown by the device name).
Your device must be visible to successfully pair with an external device. This is shown by a green check mark. - Select Scan. Your device displays a list of discovered in-range Bluetooth devices.
- Select a device from the list to initiate pairing.
- Enter the passkey or PIN code, if needed, and select OK.
- The external device must accept the connection, and then enter your device's PIN code.
Once successfully paired to an external device, the Bluetooth displays in the Status area.
Note: Due to different specifications and features of other Bluetooth-compatible devices, display and operations may be different, and functions such as transfer or exchange may not be possible with all Bluetooth-compatible devices and in some cases, the vehicle Bluetooth may pair-up however not function properly. Check your vehicle’s owner’s manual or dealer for compatibility with your phone.
