Difficulty Sending and Receiving Email in Any Email Program If you are having difficulty sending and receiving email, then please disable Norton AntiVirus Email Scanning feature. To Disable Email Scanning in Norton AntiVirus Online: - Click on the Options button.
- Click the Email link.
- Uncheck the box next to both Scan incoming Email and Scan outgoing Email.
- Click on the OK button.
- Select the duration that you would like to have email scanning disabled.
- Click on the OK button.
