How do I Reinstall Norton AntiVirus Online?

Before reinstalling Norton AntiVirus Online, be sure you've completely uninstalled the existing version. Click here to learn how to uninstall the software.

To reinstall Norton AntiVirus Online:

  1. To reinstall Norton AntiVirus, do one of the following:
    • If you purchased a CD, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive, and then click Install Norton AntiVirus.
    • If you have downloaded the product from the Symantec Store, find the product installation file, and then double-click the installation file. Unless you saved it elsewhere, the installation file will be on the Windows desktop.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: If the product came pre-installed on your computer, reinstall your Norton product from the back-up CD that came with your computer. If you do not have the back-up CD or are not sure how to use it, please contact your computer manufacturer for help.
