What is Junk Mail?

Junk Mail can be any unsolicited, unwanted, or unknown email message. Usually Junk Mail, or spam, are mass-emailed advertisements, and are harmless but annoying. However, more and more Junk Mail also includes spyware, viruses, phishing, or other malicious codes, and can be harmful to your computer.

If you receive any suspicious email messages, particularly anything containing attachments coming from unknown senders, do not open them. Instead, either delete them, or report them as Junk and add the sender's email address to your Block List. Click here to learn more about using Block Lists.
