If you're receiving Error 17 or a message stating "NetZero has encountered a problem and needs to close," it could be due to a problem between the NetZero program and other programs running on your computer. To fix this, please follow the steps below: A. Restart the NetZero program and try connecting again. - Double-click the NetZero icon on your desktop.
- Type in your Member ID and password if they have not already been entered.
- Click Connect.
- You may be prompted to select your access numbers again. If so, make sure to type in a new name for your phone list (for example, type in 'HOME2') and continue setting up your access numbers.
B. Try rebooting your computer and launching NetZero again Sometimes a simple reboot will fix the problem. To do this: - Click the Start button and select Shut Down.
- Select Restart.
- Launch NetZero after Windows restarts.
- Type in your Member ID and password if they have not already been entered.
- Click Connect.
