Help – I’m New to Message Center
The most important thing to know is that there is only one NetZero email system, and two different ways to access it. You can always check your mail on your home computer using an email program (such as Outlook Express) in conjunction with your NetZero software. Alternatively, Message Center allows you to access your email when you’re away from home. Whether you’re at work, on vacation, or anywhere else with an Internet-connected computer, your email address is the same and your account is always accessible.
NetZero Message Center is offered as a convenience so that you can send and receive mail when you are away from home. You don’t have to worry about losing or missing mail. All your mail goes to NetZero’s central system, and it can be accessed at any time with either an email program connected to the NetZero software, or Message Center.
Here’s more about Message Center:
–There’s no additional cost to use Message Center. The service is free.
–You can use Message Center with either Internet Explorer or Netscape browsers.
–All mail in the Trash folder will be regularly deleted.
Some Helpful Hints
All mails left in your Inbox at the end of an Message Center session will remain there until you check your mail with an email program and the NetZero software. At that point, all mails in your Inbox will be downloaded to your home computer and will no longer appear in your Message Center Inbox. Only new mail will appear in your Message Center Inbox.

Credit card – The fee will automatically be charged to your credit card each month. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Network. We also accept debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo.
Be aware that despite having the Visa or Mastercard logo on it any purchases made are applied directly to your checking account.
Electronic Check – An electronic check is an Internet transaction that enables you to automatically make payments from a checking or savings account. You will need a checking or savings account and valid routing and account numbers to use this option. Payments for service are automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on your billing date through the ACH (Automated Clearing House) system used by major banking systems today.
This option works exactly like writing a personal check. Simply enter your checking or savings account information in the spaces provided on the registration form. This information is found along the bottom edge of your checks. You will need all of these numbers exactly as they appear for your account to sign up for electronic check payments. Please note that NetZero charges an additional $2.99 monthly fee for this service.
We currently do not accept payments by check or money orders for NetZero MegaMail service. You will be required to signup for the Credit Card or Electronic Check payment option for the MegaMail service.
If you are currently paying for NetZero Platinum or NetZero HiSpeed with a payment method other than Credit Card or Electronic Check, you will need to change to Credit Card or Electronic Check in order to sign up for MegaMail service. Once you change your payment method, all your NetZero services will be charged with this new payment method. Members cannot have two different payment methods for NetZero products.
Check or Money Order – Members can select to pay by check or money order by sending their payment along with the remittance slip they receive with the emailed or postal mailed invoice. Please note that check or money order payments are accepted for pre-paid multi-month plans only. This option charges an additional $5.00 per transaction processing fee for this service.
This message indicates that the payment method used to sign up for NetZero MegaMail was unsuccessful. It could be due to a declined credit card or outdated billing information.
If your credit card was declined, please understand that this may be caused by several factors. For example, if the bank that issued your credit card is unreachable and unable to verify account information, no authorization of ANY transactions can take place until its systems are functioning properly again. This is to prevent any unauthorized use of your credit card, and is intended for your safety.
It is also possible that your billing information is out of date. Click the Update your billing information link on the Message Center page to access your My Account page, or visit account.netzero.net/s/account.
On the My Account page, click the link to Change your Payment Information to update your credit card information, or click Update your Billing Address to update your address.
If the problem persists:
–Try using another credit card.
–Contact your credit card company to find out why the card was declined. The phone number of your credit card company is provided on your credit card statement and at the back of the credit card itself.
